Capcom Digital Collection announced for 360

We've reached the Event Horizon! The point where remakes are rebundled and relaunched. If you're a Capcom fan and have put off trying any of the HD remakes Capcom has put out for XBLA, then this is for you. Included in this bundle is: 1942 Joint Strike, Bionic Commando Rearmed 2, Final Fight Double Impact, Flock!, Rocketmen: Axis of Evil, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Super Street Fighter II HD Remix and Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3. All of the games will be in at least some form of HD and will have all the features their XBLA counterpart did. This time around these games will be thrown onto a disc and will have a 40 dollar asking price. Now I'm looking forward to the inevitable 3D remake of the rereleased bundle of the HD remakes of the original classics.

Street Fighter X Tekken gameplay/cinematic trailers

Since Capcom re-opened the fighting game floodgates with Street Fighter IV they've shown no signs of slowing down, and here's their latest work. Visually the game is pretty much identical to Street Fighter IV, and they say the controls will be familiar to both Street Fighter and Tekken fans. In these trailers you'll of course see Ryu, Ken, Guile, etc, as well as King, Nina, Kazuya, and Bob (the fatty Tekken guy).

Hold on a second here, why does all the US characters lately have to be super obesely fat? I mean I get it, buncha fatties here compared to the rest of the world, but I've never walked by a martial arts place and seen a bunch of 400 pounders workin out. In any case you can watch the flubber fly after the break.

Hsien-Ko and Sentinel join the Marvel vs Capcom 3 team

The roster grows further as Capcom announces yet two more playable characters for Marvel vs Capcom 3. Sentinel of X-Men fame, and Hsien-Ko from Darkstalkers. To be honest I only know Hsien-Ko from Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, but she still seems like a cool character. As a huge fan of Marvel vs Capcom 2 I'm glad to see Sentinel make a return, even though I tend to stray away from those huge characters.

I mean, as cheap as it is, it never gets old when someone throws out a super move at you and it goes over your head because your playing as Servbot. In any case, check out the reveal trailers for both Sentinel and Hsien-Ko after the break to see those sweet sweet super moves.

Super Street Fighter IV 3D gameplay/features trailers

Having been confirmed as a launch title for Nintendo's upcoming 3D hand-held, you can check out all of the features such as online play and a hansom roster of 32 characters in this new trailer. Sure, features are great, but how does the game look? Well, I've got ya covered with a new gameplay trailer also. Sure, 3D games don't translate that well through internet videos, but you can get a decent impression of how the game looks.

The over the shoulder camera view surprisingly seems like a fun way to play. As crazy as changing the camera view for something as archaic as a 2D style fighter sounds, I think this new camera view will work fairly well. Of course for those more hardcore people you can always turn the 3D off, then again, if your hardcore about Street Fighter then your probably playing on a console with an arcade stick. In any case, check the videos after the break.

Haggar and Phoenix extend Marvel vs Capcom 3's impressive roster

While Haggar will surely have his fans among the Zangief fighting style fans out there, I'm personally much more excited about Phoenix of X-Men fame joining the list. Not only does Phoenix's attacks look amazing within the stylistic world of MvC3, but the over-the-top feel of the game works well with such a strong character as Phoenix. Be sure to check out the trailers of both Haggar and Phoenix in action after the break.

Help create Mega Man Legends 3 by designing a sweet Bonne Mecha

If you've played the Mega Man Legends series, especially The Misadventures of Tron Bonne then you'll have an idea of what Capcom is looking for here. The mecha in Mega Man Legends are fairly iconic and have really been a big part of the steam punky world in the past couple games. This time around fans of the series get a chance to submit their own ideas for a Bonne mecha.

Eguchi has detailed over on the Capcom Unity blog the notes of a recent developer meeting in which they discuss the scenario the play will find himself in when this new mecha bursts from the ceiling of a cave. Not only is this a chance to see your design in the game, but you'll also have your name put into the credits. Seeing Capcom continue with this strategy of involving the player closely with the development of such a loved franchise is really great to see, and I hope more developers take a similar path.

Arthur, Spencer, Magneto and MODOK in action in Marvel vs Capcom 3

Capcom continues to fill out the character roster for Marvel vs Capcom 3, adding Arthur from Ghosts n' Goblins, Spencer from Bionic Commando, Magneto from X-Men and MODOK from Marvel comics. Personally I'm pretty excited about Arthur, having played Super Ghouls n' Ghosts to death back in the day. It's great to see a lot of the various weapons incorporated into his move set. Check out all of them in action after the break.
